ABOUT US
Melchiorre Ficano is the founder of Good News Lifestyle and the lead pastor at Good News House, a non-denominational Christian church in Bexhill-On-Sea, UK.
Originally from Sicily, Italy, Melchiorre's profound and life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ in his teenage years set him on a dedicated path of faith and ministry. At the age of 14, during a personal prayer in his bedroom, Melchiorre experienced the overwhelming presence and love of God, hearing Jesus's call to follow Him—a moment that marked the beginning of his lifelong dedication to spreading the Gospel.
Melchiorre's calling was further affirmed at 18 when he felt God's prompting through Isaiah 6:8, compelling him to answer, “Here am I. Send me Lord!” This divine interaction propelled him to pursue formal theological education, leading him to the International Bible Training Institute in England, where he earned a diploma in Applied Theology.
His time at IBTI not only honed his biblical knowledge but also deepened his passion for serving the Lord.
Over the past decade, Melchiorre has served in various capacities including evangelist, missionary, church planting, youth leader, worship leader, and missions pastor across different churches in England. His ministry is characterized by a deep commitment to evangelism, discipleship, and deliverance, aimed at setting captives free and preparing believers for the return of Jesus Christ.
In 2022, Melchiorre attended FireCamp UK in Norwich, an intensive evangelism training conducted by Christ for all Nations (CfaN), which significantly enhanced his evangelistic skills. He is now a licensed minister with CfaN, an active member of the CfaN Evangelism Alliance and the Global Evangelist Alliance, collaborating with other evangelists in the UK and globally to spread the Gospel more effectively.
Melchiorre is also a certified Life Coach, specializing in Confidence Coaching. He combines his pastoral care with practical life coaching to help individuals break free from limiting beliefs, build confidence, and achieve their God-given destinies. Known for his dynamic and prophetic preaching style, he brings the Father’s heart of God to his teachings, encouraging transformative and active discipleship.
In 2023, following a divine calling, Melchiorre founded Good News House, a church that reflects his vision for a community deeply committed to the values of the Gospel. His personal life is enriched by his beloved wife, Elizandra, and their two children, Hosea and Liora. Elizandra, originally from Portugal, shares Melchiorre’s ministerial calling and actively contributes to the worship, prayer, and children's ministries at Good News House. Together, they strive to live out a family life that reflects their deep faith and commitment to God’s work.
